  1. Hey Bert, I searched, but I didnt find this specific scene, Do you have any link about this one? Thanksss Tom
  2. Hey Richard, I was looking again.. is not the time to play with Light Objects? you can add 3 low poly spheres in the location of your 3 lamps above the mirror to emit photons light, It will become more and more realistic. Thanksss Tom
  3. Hey Bill!!!! AWESOME!!! Congratsss... Thanksss Tom
  4. Hey Richard, You are doing a fantastic learning curve, congrats!!! About add a extra wall, its really important.. otherwise, you will have less photons flying in your interior scene, which can make appear artifacts (blotches), requiring more photons and slowing your render.. so, a simple wall, make your render beautifull with a faster render time, the second side Pro about a extra wall is the fact you will not have flicking light if you do animation. Tip.. look more interior real photos to match your 3d rendering.. you will learn a lot reproducing them. Congrats Again.. Thanksss Tom

  13. Ola Joe, I use Adaptive to Animations, the render window AA relation is always: 4 x 4 and 1 x 1, if you need more AA quality, you need to double the value, 8 x 8 and 2 x 2, don't forget to change all models AA sampling to 2 x 2, you need to go to a group info window and change there and then with "control + right click" choose "all" to change all models. Any value over 8 x 8 and 2 x 2 will slowdown a lot the render without a significant visual improvement. Thanksss Tom
  14. Hey Jake, You know.. Top quality!!! Thanksss Tom

  24. Hey Ross, Great render my friend, Really interesting what datalogger controls, nowadays in the world, like a solar pannel. I just saw here, .mov and .zip are allowed to upload at maximum 7mb. Please, simplify your project which demonstrate the bug and upload in our Bug track system.. dont forget to post the bug too!! http://www.eias3d.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=93 http://www.eias3d.com/forums/tracker/ Start to do more renders... I would like to post them later in our new web site.. using EIAS 8 render.. :) Thanksss Tom
  25. Ola Michael, Lots of twists? the easiest way in my mind without UV would use Cylinders Ubershapes with Bezier 2 to follow your pipe, if you use all bezier handles of your deformation and your replacement pipe is not finished, add another extension... after that, you need to add only cylinder textures in your pipes which will work perfectly. Other suggestion, You could use a Ubershabe cylinder with a huge segmentation with UV data turned ON and use a plug-in like Contorcionist and scale the cylinder in Z direction, the path will be a effector which will design the same pipe design. http://www.northernlights3d.com/Products/products.html Thanksss Tom
