Hey Frank, We have Dante from Northernlights3d and Power Particles from Triple D Tools. I never tested, but I saw a user bringing particles from Houdini using MDD, so, in theory, you could test with C4D, Diego is the best candidate to explain us.. Diego? Thanksss Tom

Ola Mick, This driver is installed as part of the EIAS install. There are three things installed on the PC (EIAS, Dongle Driver, QuickTime). These are in three different install stages. I suggest this first, remove his dongle, uninstall all dongle drivers, then reinstall EIAS. Thanksss Tom -

Ola Carlos, I just tested with Realflow test project, Realflow 3 was working, but Realflow 4.3.8 (current) have this axis problem.. I need to investigate more. I didnt need to re-position in my project, only rotate Y and scale -1 in Z like you did. And my project loads fine from mesh 0000 like first frame. Thanksss Tom

Ola Carlos, YOUR TEST IS AWESOME!!! Realflow trick is pretty simple... you need to change the Realflow axis scene, If am I not wrong, its in the preferences, I dont remember more which one is better, Maya or Lightwave... export them and tell us please. Thanksss Tom

Hey barnabythebear!! Your render JUMPED from quality!!!! Use your Dropoff now: 1) Enable Show Dropoff check box in the left collum of Area Light UI 2) If you are using 100% of Ref, Play with a smaller number, like 50% 3) You can balance Intensity value on general tab, using a smaller value and increasing the Over Intensity value on Dropoff tab which means, you make the light closer to windows more intense and let the corners darker. You are mastering Photons barnabythebear!!! Then, the second trick will be balance Photons Emissions, Area Light Rays Counts and GI Primary ray Count to have a high quality and a faster render. Ola Rob, You can add as many layers you want, but you can display only one layer at time in the viewport in our current build, all layers will appear togheter only in render time, to see each one, take a look in the color bars icon in the bottom left corner of the camera view port. Thanksss Tom -
Controlling visibility of a large number of objects

Ola Rob K, After soo many jobs and music video clips with Character Animation using EIAS, I choose some ways to work. http://www.ottostudios.com/OTTOSTUDIOS/Music_Video_Clips/Music_Video_Clips.html Having soo many CA in the scene in the same time I used these options: Skin Engine is really powerful but slow down Interface when you have several characters in the same scene, a few Tricks.. 1) When you have defined your CA, cut it in pieces to be your proxy (light geometry too), like legs, arms, torso, head and parent then in each correspondent bone, so, you can preview really fast, looking a good approximation of the final CA without EIAS calcs in the Skin Engine. 2) Use Selection Sets, change fast from Proxy to final model (which is already using the skin engine but its turned off) 3) Your Final Character can be imported inside EIAS using Level 0 of subdivision and you can use Encage plug-in to smooth only in the render or when you want to see How the deformations are going. - I just tried one of my characters here, I played in camera viewport and tried a viewport preview (20 fps without drop frames turned on). - Then I changed the “display elements†option in the blue sphere icon in the bottom left of Camera viewport to display only Bones, it means, Character is still on but my preview only display bones. (25 fps without drop frames turned on). - Then I turned off my Character in project window and hit the preview button (70fps without drop frames turned on) I hope this help Thanksss Tom -

Ola Rob, Do you want a Foreground layer with Alpha, then your 3d, then your Background (having alpha or not in the background)? all in your Camera viewport? Thanksss Tom -
Ola Carlos, Look my new file: 1) First Sphere, you only rotate the handles to acelerate in the ways you want, but dont have How to break the handles. 2) Second Sphere, my trick for now, in the second keyframe, select the keyframe, press option and drag the keyframe one frame more, look in the FCE window, rotate both handles, both like you want, then you will still in the FCE window, press “Tab†key once, you will see your cursor change to Horizontal constrained axis, click in one of the keyframes and move to become in the same position of the second keyframe, now you will have 2 frames in the same position with 2 different velocitys, In and out. Do this trick without the keyframe be in the “0†velocity, otherwise, it will change the shape of the viewport path. Its not the best, but works. Thanksss Tom FCE2.zip
