DEM Maps from Australia: http://www.ga.gov.au/scientific-topics/geographic-information/topographic-maps-data/digital-elevation-data How to convert DEM Maps to EXR files using blender. http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?294036-using-real-world-data-(DEM-files)-to-generate-3d-maps A Displacement map done with EXR using Photoshop will be like, top areas “white” with low areas “Grey scale fading to dark”. Another way Scott, you will need to sculpt in Zbrush for example. Thanks Tom

  10. Ola Scott, The EXR file is created in Photoshop, it's a greyscale map with a bigger bits depth, (high dynamic range of blacks and whites) Thanks Tom

  13. Ola Chris!! Its really simple, select the Flag plug-in in the project window and with “control” key pressed in the keyboard, go to menu bar / Object / Range Export or Range Export Parked.. Hope that helps Thanks Tom

Don't forget EIAS can display up to 8 textures in layers per group including alpha channels and blending modes ;) And which I personally love is the ability to add a movie as texture and when you scrub in the timeline with option pressed, you see the animation previewing in realtime depending of the complexity of the scene ;) Thanks Tom

  25. Ola Derryl! The only way I can think now is apply your shader in a plane in front of Camera, this plane will be full luminant, then you save it as a texture. Thanks Tom
