  1. Hallo Jens, I read that C4D R11 has its own system to Bake PLA. it is in the animation palette. Im in Chile now (hollydays), in November I'll be able to dedicate some time. here is some information from CG talk forums: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=47&t=741618&highlight=bake+PLA+R11 Cheers Diego
  2. Holla Felix, Yes, I will be in Chile in October this year, 'll pass a message. will be good to meet you. Cheers Diego
  3. Hola Felix, I have worked many years for a chance like this. Now it is true that it is very fun to do!:) Thank you, see you in Santiago next October, you'll be there? Cheers Diego
  4. Thank you very much for your comments so nice:blush: the version of EIAS that I use is incredibly stable, months without any crashing, a lot of 4096 x 4096 textures, MDD files, shadders, plugins...endless Now Im working on a stereoscopic 3D shutter glasses version, it is also very easy in EIAS. :) Cheers Diego
  5. Thank you very much for your comments, I am very happy with this work is an attempt to create something like audio-visual poetry. In a direct or indirect way I do learn a lot from all the users and developers. all ten songs are done with just two Octa-Nehalem, only possible with EIAS8! For the moment we are having good reception, “Lichtmond†is produced with the highest audio and image quality that is technically possible: discrete 7.1, 5.1 and 2.0 surround sound in 192 KHZ and 24 bit; full HD animations, 1920 x 1080 in 29.97 FPS. The release date is in September 15, until then Im not allowed to upload songs. Thank you for your support, Cheers Diego
  6. Hello to all, Just wanted to show you our last release on Blu-Ray 7.1: "Lichtmond" (a German music/ Spanish visuals production) all is pure EIAS Render, 50 min of animation!. EIAS is in the credits as main 3D aplication. The Bluray disc contains 10 song, we have just 4 uploaded songs. in the "Clips" menu. I want to thank all the help received from users and developers during this intense year of work. Also congratullation for the MDD import plugin, This has changed my work and opened the door to many other platforms. http://www.lichtmond.com/ Cheers Diego
  7. Hello Frank, you can bring to EIAS all the animated objects that always maintain the same number of polygons via MDD, that mean Mograph animations, Bones, Deformers, Cloth and Dynamics, with intact Uv's with O2Fact converter. Particle objects can also be done but do not have to change the number of objects. I do not know if there is another way to bring particles. please take a look at this thread if you are interested http://www.eias3d.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=65&page=4 Ola Tomas:) Cheers Diego
  8. Hello, as EIAS is not a modeling application, you'll have to use Silo, C4d or any other to separate or setup your Uv's models and then import into EIAS via transporter. I read that the user Batoloco has found a way to import. OBJ UV's without O2F. I think that there is no way to separate models in EIAS. Diego
  9. Hello SuperNova, we also have bought quite a few models, O2F have the "Separate by Material" option in many cases this is sufficient to separate models. Our second option is to open the model previously in C4d, there is very easy to separate the models without altering the UV's, using selections tag, then export it as. Obj again. Cheers Diego
  10. Hallo Tomas, here is the manual definition of pixel border, Pixel Border: Bakes a pixel border that extends beyond the UV polygons. look for some examples that show the difference, but the basic difference is in EIAS seen or not seen the seams. I made this little test for you with a poser figure, open in C4d Baked and exported as .Obj via OBJ2Fact This is a single piece model Baked, and the results are quite good, it is really great to have the texture of the whole body, head, hands and feet in a single texture but if you're looking for more detail then you need to make a separately Bake of the head or hands. pixel border 2 pixel border 6 pixel border 2 pixel border 6 Cheers Diego
  11. Ola Amigo, here is a screenshot showing the Bake Object window. With complex geometry models as a character need to separate the head from the body to bake them separately to obtain good results. Cheers Diego
  12. Ola Tomas, In C4d when you bake the object, must to set pixel border between 4-6. In EIAS, you enable "Use UV Space" before loading the textures and set per object "Sampling level" to 2 X 2 This gives me free seams renders. Diego
  13. Hello Dave, Xenodream export .obj's from version 1.6, now in version 2.0 export .obj sequence this is wonderful! One of the amazing things about Xenodream is that the Color is also distributed throughout the fractal, it seems that with the .csv format it is possible to export the models as particles with color information. Martin has done in 3DMax, I'm trying to do at EIAS. this is a good example: Cheers Diego
  14. Hello to all, :) I am looking for a way to import a model that comes from Xenodream 3D in .csv format. Point position format and color of each point, I do not know if there is any way to conver it to EIAS points attached below a sample file (single frame) if anyone wants to try it: www.imago-d.org/c4des/XenodreamTest.csv.zip Here are some examples from Martin Stebbing (3DMax) of what I'm trying to do. please any help is welcome. Cheers Diego
  15. Hello James, I use Bake Object option in C4d, exported as .OBJ and imported into EIAS through OBJ2Fact, generally gives me good result, sampling level must be adjusted to 2X2 to avoid seams. Cheers Diego
  16. Hi Tomas, Ian, if it is working for you in V8 then surely I have something wrong on my AE CS3, I have reinstalled it but the problem persists. I'll send a project. Thank you for your support Cheers Diego Hi, Here is the sample file: www.imago-d.org/EIAS/EI_LayersTestDiego.zip If I render this project through "Local Camera" I can read the .psd sequence in AE CS3 If I render the project through "Renderama" I can not read the .psd sequence in AE CS3 Thank you for help. Diego
  17. Bonjour Richard, That's good news, it gives me hope that some day it will work, something wrong has happened in Renderama V8. Thank you very much for testing for me. Diego
  18. The only way I've found to read the Renderama's .PSD sequences in AE is to load them in Photoshop and save as to a new folder, not a very elegant way to solve it and quite uncomfortable when you have 900 frames in each shot, but at the moment is the only way. The extraneous thing is that this problem only occurs if you use Renderama, but with the local Camera it works OK. Would be good that EIAS programmers know this issue if they can do something in the near future, AE is a very popular program. Cheers Diego
  19. I am currently doing a 45 minutes production, every time I need a mask of a particular model, I must to re-render the scene because EI_Layers does not make readable files in Renderama mode. Photoshop even has trouble reading EI_Layers .PSD's that coming from Render Farm (Renderama). (in the real world always use the Render Farm) This brings me big inconvenience and lost time in my work. I have to recalculate BlobMaker, Encage and many other things every time I need a mask:( Please, Juanxer and Ian do you have this problem? do you have found a solution? I need help to improve my mask workflow because I'm a little behind in my deadlines. Thank you in advance:) Diego
  20. Hello Richard, Thank you very much for the test.zip, helped me to discover that the problem is when I use the Renderama. When I render with the local Camera, I can read the .PSD sequence in AE_CS3, but if I render via Renderama, I can not import the sequence on CS3. the files appears in grey. I do not know if it's a bug or user error, please could you do a test to see if it happens to you? Thank you for your time:) Cheers Diego Hola Juanxer, I saw your thread on CGTalk, that Igors corrects a bug in the Normals channel of RPFs. Thank you! I have tried it and it works very well (Normals) but I can not read the whole sequence in AE CS3. the files appears in grey in the import window. Only if I drop a RPF file into AE I can read but the files are not stittched. Please could you tell me if that happen to you too? Cheers Diego
  21. Hello to all, After Effects CS3 can not read PSD sequences that come from EI_Layers.shl. RPF files made via render farm can not be stitched in AE CS3. I do not know if anyone has managed to work in CS4. Has anyone found any solution to this problem? Please I need a help to understand how to use EI_Layers and .RPF files in AE CS3. Cheers Diego
  22. Hello, Thank you very much for your comments guys, I'm looking for a free application to record tutorials...? The other thing is that I tried to apply motion blur to the MDD imported models but I had no success, please, what kind of blur to use? Cheers Diego
  23. Hello All, I wanted to share some results of the new plugin MDD:blush: The animated fibbo comes from Groboto, exported as .Obj sequence, opened in C4D and converted to a Point Level Animation (PLA) a single .Obj plus a MDD file, Also in C4D were added the balls with Cloth Dynamics and converted to PLA-MDD. Originals files was 5.6 GB, once converted to MDD was only 350Mb.:D Once in EIAS a BlobMaker were applied to the geometry of Fibbo and balls. maybe the whole process sounds a bit complicated but really is very simple and quick to do. Here is the animation test www.imago-d.org/c4des/Fibbo_3MDD.mov I like how BlobMaker merges the two geometries. Fibbo + Balls Cheers Diego
  24. Hi Ash, I really like the Red one with the nice background and clouds, also the blurring reflection in floor very humid look. Regards Diego
  25. Hi Juanxer, Nice look hyper clean, very nice reflections. congratulations:) Cheers Diego
