Hi does anyone know is there a product like this? You know these products like art explosion 300,000 vector files so many Jpg's ect ect. Is there a 3d art explosion you know something like 300.000 basic obj models with uvs and uv templates . It seems like at this point in the whole 3d world someone would put something like that together. The limitations of the uber shape plugin could be augmented by a general shape catalog in fac format that would have all kinds of basic shapes that could be combined to make the objects you desire. Not everyone wants to become a modeler an I think this type of approach could help a lot more people be come users of 3D products. Just a wild thought. Mark

Hi Richard and Tomas Thanks for encouragement . I am going to do my best to try and learn this program inside and out. I have all kinds of tutorials to help, but I feel a lot when doing some tutorials all you learn is to follow steps not to understand what's going on . So doing tests is the way to learn more. I spend a couple of days going through each deformer doing tests. Then for a couple of days I went through each shader doing tests. Then I rendered out a snap shot of every material on three objects a ( sphere cube torus ) at once so I made a library I can look at in adobe bridge to see what they look like when I need a material. Then I did tests with each kind of light. Then I started to make the model I'm working on cause I decided modeling and UV mapping are weak areas for me , where I need work. Mark an overview shot of My renders of materials

Hi NIGE Great looking render . I was wondering what format your getting the scenes in . How your converting them . How much time is it taking to do the conversions. I made a post asking this yesterday but it didn't come through, don't know why it looked like it did. Mark

HI for the last 4 weeks I've been trying to model and uv a cartoon type person in silo , which is still being worked on , but before that I was fooling around with deformers and lights and I also wanted to check out iweb a little more so I updated my page with movies 6, 7 and 8 . Not anything great , just an effort to communicate. http://web.me.com/markjohnston99me/markseiasmovies/Movie.html Mark

Ross, totally loved your animations, want to see more from everyone. We have a lot of users who seem to be shy about getting in here and posting so we all can get to know who does what how they use EIAS . There's a lot that sharing can do to help us all. Get out of your shells people , communication is a good thing. Mark
