  1. Works good!! I tried to tan parts and the green hand pivot around the base but no dice. It really seems like it has to stay put when I prefer it to pivot.
  2. Who is game for this one. I want to animate this robot arm and keep the green part "horizontal" as I move it here and there. I believe I could do a hack job by having just 2 bones in the IK chain and hand animating the green hand to stay flat by that is slow. I would prefer to to use this 3 bone setup. Is it feasible?
  3. That looks heavenly Diego! Did you see the post I made a couple of days ago for Mondo Cloud Shader with an image? I got some clouds out of it but it took a big render hit. How is KMyst to work with?
  4. There is Dante Chisel which works well but doesn't color the edge. Doesn't work with very complex geometry.
  5. Finally getting some decent results with mondo cloud shader. I dusted off some old tutorials that gave me a start. These are not quite real but getting closer. Could get artistic with it.

  8. The bus would not go into EI 9.1 for me but others did. Used the lwo format.

  10. That is spot on Tomas! Very real. Does it work with a simplified lighting setup? I usually use just a sun and GI skydome to speed things up.
  11. You moved them Yhloon! I got something a little better out of MForge but it is the most complicated shader in the world. I have some clouds in the global reflectivity slot.

  13. Nah, EIM last worked with Mtn Lion I believe. It has to run in Rosetta. Maybe Transporter will convert.

  16. Have always found getting a good "car paint" setting out of EI a big challenge. It either looks like glossy plastic or like a christmas ornament when I give it a go. I have given MForge a go and the metal flakes look good but I am after just normal car paint. Something like this: All other programs use a layer approach to achieve this. Any input is most welcome. :D

  18. Hey Scott, I never compress out of AE because I get flakey results. might try media encoder. It's strange, QT 7 takes my registration number but does not turn into Pro. It was installed with probably mtn lion. Maybe I should reinstall 7.
  19. I use Quicktime 7 to compress my movies after I get them from After Effects. Quicktime 7 is now not accepting my registration number for some reason. I guess this is because of Yosemite. Anyone else able to register Quicktime 7 to pro using Yosemite? :D

  22. Thanks! There is not too much to these renderings, just a GI sky light for the most part. That model captures EI well. Is Phungus your real name? I will give you credit if I post this on Facebook.
  23. Would you be interested in giving EIAS a little promotion? Could you post the fact file of the blocked logo and let people test render it out. It would be kinda fun!
