BLACK SCREEN IN EIAS

Dear Sirs.

I have a question.

When I drag a window in EIAs, the computer screen goes black.

Can anyone help me?

I don't have an answer, but I'm just chiming in here. I get the same issues under Mountain Lion 10.8.1. This is odd, as I just assumed it was because of that OS. Other that this odd little behavior, I haven't had anything else happen to me.

Try, In shade mode - engine- Change hardware for software. Maybe a problem in the video card?

Tomas, I am also seeing this issue. The screen goes black when grabbing the header of any window. I have tried alternating the drawing engine between software and hardware. No change.

I reinstalled the EIAS 8 Lion Patch to be sure but the screen still turns black.

Is anyone else using Mac OS 7 or 8.1 and Not having the blackout problem?

Using a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB graphics. OS 10.8.1 -Derryl

8 GB 800 MHZ DDR2 FB-DIMM

EIAS 8.0.0 + EI8 OSXLION PATCH

+ EIAS 8 OS X Dongle Installer

This is my OS., my EIAS and all that I installed, and the problem continues

In V8 under Lion, I have no outline when positioning a window so it's hard to drop it where I want but I don't have the black screen problem.

I had this problem when I was mirroring my monitor to a TV screen. Helped when I stopped the mirror.

Ola,

Just tested on Studio’s computer, a Mac Pro with ATI Radeon HD 5770, I can reproduce the problem with EIAS 8 and I see the black screen!

EIAS 9 runs fine!!

In Mac OS X 10.7 all my windows would "freeze" when I tried to move a window (in other words, I can not see the outline of the window I'm moving until I let go of the mouse button).

In Mac OS X 10.8 my screen simply turns black when I try to move a window.

Very odd.

No, we dont have How to roll back the code to EIAS 8, huge changes in EIAS 9, I suggest to have another HD or Partition with OSX 10.6.X
