  1. Ola Diego, Will be excelent if we find a workflow from C4D .mdd and EIAS. What I read is the C4d built-in OBJ exporter makes a confusion when export vertices order, so, I heard Reptide Pro is the solution, but I hadn't a chance to test it with C4d mdd. I'm really interested to make this work... Thanks Tom
  2. Ola Diegooo, I heard C4D OBJ expot is not good, first try to open your OBJ model on Maya or any other 3d appl. which support OBJ to see if works fine. I tried C4D, but I cant make it work yet. Lets try to find a solution togheter Thanksss Tom

  5. Hey Mark, Im really happy you are having time to do 3d with EIAS... ITS TIME TO PUT YOUR PASSION ON EIAS.. do, renders, animations tests, short films.. Everything I know about 3d was because I choosed EIAS to my life... After soo many years using and loving EIAS, I always had this desire: How can I take care more of EIAS? which made all my personal dreams come true. 14. Ola my friends Our Bug Track System is available: Upper right corner of our EIAS3d Forum (Bug Tracker) or directly to this link: http://www.eias3d.com/forums/tracker/ Create a detailed mini-description step by step, for example like "it happens when I did..". Unfortunately, not all bugs can be reproduced with sample projects. One kind of such bugs is system crashes. Please help us to detect and fix them. When you've got a crash you need: 1) Find a crash report file created by OSX. It's here: /Users//Library/Logs/CrashReporter where: Macintosh HD - name of system volume user - login name on your Mac 2) Log on our FTP: User uploads via web browser are enabled. http://electrichideout.doesntexist.org:8080 An FTP client can also be used ftp://electrichideout.doesntexist.org User: UserFTP Pass: EIAS Go to BUGS folder and to corresponded sub-folder inside it. - Animator BUG Folder - Camera BUG Folder - Renderama BUG Folder - Plug-ins BUG Folder - Shaders BUG Folder In top tool bar click "Browser Uploader" to upload your archive. Although it will not produce immediate results, the posted reports will be considered and analyzed to fix nasty "mutable" bugs that live long from one EI version to another. The Rama/Slave crashes are especially interested for us ;-) Thank you EIAS3D Team :)

  18. Hey Robert, You can convert .exr to .img on Photoshop to use on EIAS 7, but you will loose the 16 bits of .exr and the sea level feature of EIAS 8. Thanksss Tom
  19. Ola Splitpoint, We know its not the answer you would like to hear now, we are running and working a lot in our new Camera 9, your bug was adressed and fixed, but we cant bring a fix for this OS prb now, our Camera is in several parts over our desk.. :) If you can run a 32 bit windows partition with EIAS 8, you will like a lot. any prb, msg us Thanksss Tom
  20. Ola Robert, Only EIAS 8 can read .exr and we implemented new features on EIAS 8 to improve Displacement map rendering. You can bring models from Modo to EIAS using Transporter or OBJ2FACT from Ramjac, I use OBJ2FACT a lot with my films. I can teach you How, but I dont know if you have OBJ2FACT. If am I not wrong, EITG is doing a special upgrade price to EIAS users, please contact Phil. Thanksss Tom
  21. Ola David, Modeler is a EITG property, you need advices from them. Please, send a email to Phil. Our concern now is EIAS - Electric Image Animation System... :) I can suppose, Do you installed any new appl? maybe one which use some kind of dongle software? Did you try all USB or ADB ports of your dongle in the machine which is not working? Thanksss Tom
