  1. I just placed my order for 5k iMac. In 7-10 days I can let you know. :shy: However I'm almost positive that EI is NOT HiDPI.
  2. Scott, I just received this from the owner of barefeats.com -- "Keep in mind most of the time it is scaled to 2560x1440. You can’t even set it to 5120x2880 in finder. That can only happen within the apps that support that resolution." Just thought it may be of help. Paul
  3. At $99 that's a great deal. Thanks for posting.
  4. Has Silo been updated within the last year or so?
  5. Really like this -- has a lot more "life" to it.
  6. When will ver. 9 features be announced -- or are you waiting until actual release?
  7. I'm headed out of the office right now and don't have time for a detailed response at this time but be sure to check out the following: PDF overview: http://moi3d.com/download/Moi3d-Overview.pdf Basic video tutorials: http://moi3d.com/2.0/docs/tutorials.htm More resources: http://moi3d.com/resources I purchased ViaCad sometime ago but prefer Moi3D over it. It's been years since I have used EIM. HTH, Paul
  8. How long is the beta cycle projected to last?
  9. Just a heads-up for those that may be interested: Moi3D for Mac has been released. Going forward the Windows and Mac versions will be feature concurrent. http://moi3d.com/for...=MOI&msg=5191.1 Having used EIM I feel this is the closest approach to it, if not better, than any other modeling app out there. Also - the serial is the same for windows and mac so it can be used on both platforms. I had previously been using it in Parallels. Paul C.
  10. This is good news! Thanks, Paul C.
  11. http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=4737.1 A beta version is available, but you'll need to be a version 2 owner to use it. I've been using this via Parallels in Windows and feel that it's a great alternative to EIM -- even better now that a Mac version in on the way.

  13. If you are willing to run Windows in Parallels check out Moi3d. http://moi3d.com/ I haven't touched EIM in years. I also have ViaCad but prefer moi.
  14. Noticed a lot of spam lately in the forum. Is there a way to add a captcha or something to prevent this? Also -- is an EIAS 9 announcement eminent? Thanks!
  15. Tomas, Can you share any details of the import system as this point? Thanks, Paul
  16. Any news or updates regarding the release of v9?
