S. Houtzager Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Hey has anyone seen this? When using the brick 3d shader it just renders the object black. The shader preview goes to black when opening it the second time. Be nice to have this shader even though it is slower than maps. joseph56 Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 I tried an ubercube in eias 8 and if create uv is on it renders grey. It doesn't render the bricks evenly either with uv off screwing up on the top and adding some grey bricks here and there. Quote
thingmaker Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 The brick 3D shader works for me on a Mac w/OS 10.9 and EI 9.1. As Joseph said above, I get the brick pattern but random gray bricks and the top is funky. The top is always square bricks even though you can configure height, width and length. But I believe this is because it is always calculated as a 2D projection from the side. -Derryl Bricks Quote
