Horizontal Streak

Am doing an animation on for 5 frames I get a horizontal streak across the rendering.  For one frame it is thin and the other frames it is bigger.

Don't see anything colliding with it.  It is a phong rendering. Tried it with different resolutions, with and without AA.

Wow, never see this!

1) Do you have an small object close to Camera?

2) Turn off motion blur if it's enabled

3) Turn off reflections if it's enabled

4) Turn off "strip" render if it's enabled.

What happens?

I've seen such streaks with imported CAD geometry, when single points are displaced (due to a failure on export or import). Happens sometimes on rounded edges or the seams between NURBS surfaces, and sometimes translates into facetted geometry, too.
