KurtF Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 Don't know about hibernation, but after three and a half years of development, I'm hoping for good things from this first update to EIAS under it's new management. Quote
Tomas Egger Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 Ola Kurt! We are doing our best! Note: We started on January 2010 after our acquisition, so, 2 years and half. Thanks Tom Quote

RichardJoly Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 The link was at the end of several Lightwave pages. It doesn't work anymore. http://www.cgchannel.com/2012/07/lightwave-11-5-feature-list-announced/ http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=129555 Quote
Phungus Posted July 30, 2012 Author Report Posted July 30, 2012 Yup, they have removed it to iron out the typos and a few missing pictures. It will probably get back up, at latest at Siggraph. Thanks to Richard the cgchannel link will at least give you the gist of it. And you might stick to that date as a developer, Thomas, but as a customer my clock started counting the day EIAS 8 was released..so that would be May 2009....over 3 years with few signs of life.
