Some tests for a human skin

Hi,

I'm doing some tests for a human skin, i am useing a color, bump and specular map based in the skin shader of EiAs, but no joy yet. Any ideas for faking a SSS?

Hey Felix,

I just did this test and I think it looks OK. Had to use raytrace shadows with the enable transmission setting.

There is 1 tutorial on the site called "Raytrace Shadow Transmission". You know I think the OpenGL preview in EI looks very much like flesh if someone can figure out how to render it out.

What kind of shadows are you using on the light? The second one looks good.

Nothing fancy; raytraced shadows, as you can see. Not a real SSS, but works more or less.
