fantomaz
Years ago there was a guy who stepped from darkness into the EIAS world with a clip that was so stunning, that i believe its also today best viewable. His name was Teague Clare. He did a shot, where a car drives through an old industrial hall and at the end it bumps against an empty barrel (or something like that) while the car performs an emergency break. The clip was so cool, that i decided: some day, when there is enough time, i will produce a similiar clip. It took me more than 10 years, but here it is, enjoy. It was only for fun and learning purposes and to see if i can do such things. Many thanks to Cj for the XP-script: car_mover (did you get my PN?) Thanks also to Jens, who always impressed me with his car movies and the quality of his renderings! Greetings Alex Just in case the picturelink above doesnt work, click here: http://www.cobra-gestaltung.com/EIAS/The_Race.mov

AVTPro
Wow! You've been BUSY man!! :-) Love that whole scene. The grey huge hanger detailed by the bright color cars. Is it me or is it sound? How much of this did you model? Keep up the great work. Nice to see EI getting some shine.
scott8933
Very nice clip! Some sound will really make it come alive. Had you considered a little post-work, like some tire smoke, light flares off the headlights, stuff like that? Would bump it up another notch. Here's a slightly related link, its a custom Cobra made for Larry Ellison. Several million dollars to build, quite a feat of engineering when cost is no object: http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/book_aoe/

Lazlo
Your cars and especially that hangar are well done indeed. While sound would have been nice, it's the animation that rules. Hope to see more.

fantomaz
Hm, that was not Teagues work? I thought so over all the years
tiktokfx
Nope, not mine. I DID have some car animation videos, but they all involved a Porsche. Way cruder than that, but then again, I did them 12 years ago on a jacked up PowerMac 8500 with 2.9 & Reelmotion.
