fantomaz
Hi all A customer of mine wanted to reactivate an old industrial hall. In this hall steam trains were maintenanced for more than 50 years. Since 30 years the hall was empty or used for logistic for other companies. But now my customer reactivates this industrial building for which the building was originaly built: maintenance of trains. The main hall is 190m long and 110m wide... For the big press event they wanted to have a stage in the middle of the hall and a big screen, where they wanted to show some Powerpoints and of course, my movie. Everything was made in 2 1/2 weeks, so there was no time for big storyboards or long testings. Today was the event and everything was fine and everyone was happy. RichardJoly
Great job Alexander! Nice use of Camera mapping to fill in the details. Congrats!
rtrowbridge
Very cool! Looks like I need to do some experimenting with Camera Mapping (or at least going home and running my model railroad!!!). Nice job. Ross

Tomas Egger
Ola Fantomaz, EXCELENT WORK!!! Sometimes we add extra Cameras projecting maps (camera maps), in the extreme end of the first camera, to avoid real distorted images or blurred. But you understood totally the main idea.. congrats. Btw: The order of Cameras (which contain Camera Maps) in Project window, which one came first and so on, its like “layers†in photoshop, you need to have your Cmaps with Alpha to compose more and more complex Cmaps scenes. Thanksss Tom
fantomaz
Hi and thanks all! First they wanted only one or two pictures in the hall with lots of vehicles in the pictures, but when i showed them what is possible with camera mapping they were totally astonished. Too bad, that there was so little time for the job... We discussed how to make better photos so that distortion was not so high when you are in the endzone of the hall, but unfortunately the momentary leaser of the hall had left tons of europalettes in the hall, so it was not possible. I think the last quarter of the hall is photoshoped by me, so that you cant see all the garbage there... One thing i didnt finished, because of less time, was the crane at the ceiling. He is still in good shape and working and with camera mapping it looks very cool when he drives up and down the long hall with a train on his hook. Maybe next time... :) Greetings fantomaz
batoloco
Looks very good for me,how many projection cams were used in the hall?I think the textures looks acceptable if u used a single projection hence my question?the ceiling looks great, that was a tile textures along the z axis but the side walls and the floor looks great, congrats camera mapping is one of the best feautures in eias. jakev
Nice work for only a couple weeks. Did you model everything and cmap all in that time? Love the fly through the lighted trench down below the floor the most. Almost looked like something outta Star Wars. ha ha.
