Reuben.F
Hi everyone, I've copied this from the other forum- If you get the following error message when launching Animator/Camera/Rama under Windows, ‘configuration not correct- a re-install may work’ please install the current version of the Microsoft runtime libraries. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf&displaylang=en Thank You Ok i’ve only just got the v8 upgrade and i still have this problem on windows xp64x, after installing the 64x version of the runtime package i still get the same error. I also found that the older Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 package installs the filles to the wrong directory, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 is the one that must be used, but again this does not solve the problem on windows xp64. i am out of ideas here, EIAS v7 works fine but 8 won’t boot. Igors
Hi Reuben Thx for the help i am out of ideas here, EIAS v7 works fine but 8 won’t boot. Because v7 was built with older compiler, but v8 with MSVC 2008 and requires run-time libraries installed.

Ahh, the answer is you have to use the 86x runtime package NOT 64x even though its a 64bit OS.
