Texture copy and Paste problem

This is driving me crazy.
If I copy and paste a texture in the material window, it does not paste in the same place!
This does not always happen.
I remember this was a bug years ago, except it happened all the time.

Check this project.

- go to material window for "roller doors"
- in diffuse select the "Roller NEW MID GREY.img texture
- copy
- paste into diffuse or bump channel.
- texture is in a different position.

EIAS V 9.1 on Win 7 64 bit.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

What "bugs" me is that we have to wait for a whole new release for this to be fixed.

Where are the "patches"?

This is old code creeping back in. Fact.

So Now I wait for a new release to solve a problem that is as old as the hills.

I don't get it!!!

Ola Greg!

EIAS 9.1 is tons times better than any build from the previous owner.

We choose to release the most stable version possible instead release a weak version with patches letting everybody crazy with all kinds of bugs.

We don't like to work like that.

Note: we are looking the texture system code these days..

Btw: Greg, found a way to reproduce your PC Rama bug?

Thanks

Tom

Ok.

PC Rama bug is noted on the forum.

Yes I can reproduce it often.

There is nothing to send. It can't be reproduced from one machine to another.

I believe it is a camera / graphics card/driver problem.

See mine and Diego's latest post on this.

Thanks Tomas
