Thomo
This is driving me crazy. If I copy and paste a texture in the material window, it does not paste in the same place! This does not always happen. I remember this was a bug years ago, except it happened all the time. Check this project. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/swy7kzpjkul280p/AABx3ijL7u5oi4hxWFHm1f0_a?dl=0 - go to material window for "roller doors" - in diffuse select the "Roller NEW MID GREY.img texture - copy - paste into diffuse or bump channel. - texture is in a different position. EIAS V 9.1 on Win 7 64 bit. Any ideas? Thanks.
meester smeeth
Yep mate, this one used to get me every now and again but haven't had it yet in the new version. Just tried your file though and it's doing it here. Only way I know to fix it is re-applying the original diffuse again. A bit of a bugger if you've got a few doing it though.... Thomo
What "bugs" me is that we have to wait for a whole new release for this to be fixed. Where are the "patches"? This is old code creeping back in. Fact. So Now I wait for a new release to solve a problem that is as old as the hills. I don't get it!!! Tomas Egger
Ola Greg! EIAS 9.1 is tons times better than any build from the previous owner. We choose to release the most stable version possible instead release a weak version with patches letting everybody crazy with all kinds of bugs. We don't like to work like that. Note: we are looking the texture system code these days.. Btw: Greg, found a way to reproduce your PC Rama bug? Thanks Tom
Thomo
Ok. PC Rama bug is noted on the forum. Yes I can reproduce it often. There is nothing to send. It can't be reproduced from one machine to another. I believe it is a camera / graphics card/driver problem. See mine and Diego's latest post on this. Thanks Tomas
