Brian Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 hey guys, First time using oren-nayer (in EI) and it turns my object black. I applied it to the diffuse tab (as the manuel says to do) but the object just turns black. I do have a few lights in the scene (for light/specular). Just wondering how to use this shader in EI. Tomas Egger Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 Ola Brian, Open Oren Shader UI, take a look inside, this shader simulate a Phong shader no matter what, so, any Raytrace feature will not work like Sky Light, Photons and so on, it will always appear as a Phong render.
