Buggsy
Hi Tomas, I didn't know if this is the best place to post this but I can't seem to download the new v8.0 for Mac to get the new splash screens. I downloaded the new v8.0 but my .dmg file tells me "no mountable file systems". The size of the .dmg only seems to be 55.9MB but the download shows it being 81.1MB in Safari. I tried it yesterday as well it it quit before it got 25% of the way through the download. Please let me know if I'm holding my tongue the wrong way or if there is a problem with the Mac download? 27-inch iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 OSX 10.6.4 8 MB of RAM Mac Nehalem 2.66 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon OSX 10.6.4 8 MB of RAM Michael
fantomaz
The same here, sometimes the dl goes to 50MB and stops, sometimes only 15MB and so on. But no complete dl is possible at the moment. The wired thing is, that the finder thinks its complete...if you then try to open the .dmg the error message comes up. Normally the finder "knows" if a dl is broken or not. But the good thing is: the dl comes with a speed between 500KB/s and 1000KB/s :) unfortunately something is closing the connection too early. Michael B.
the same here too. But the third or fourth time I tried downloading it worked. Michael
RichardJoly
So it's not a problem with MY connection... It was acting lately so it took the blame...
Tomas Egger
Ola my friends, I'm talking with my web team, FTP download is working perfect, I had some connections break too using web browsers. Probably, too much traffic.. Let me see what's happening... Thanksss Tom
rtrowbridge
Tomas, I'm at 31.1 mb right now. I tried downloading it yesterday, but it stopped at 25 megs. BTW, do I need to have my original unlock code available? Or will it just install the new files over my old ones and let me start rendering again? Thanks, Ross P.S.: Now at 39.1 mb (slow download for some reason)
