Buggsy Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2011 When you turn on Global Illumination, the 'Receive Shadow' option for any group it doesn't work. It's as if it's only available while not using GI. Is this a bug? I need a work around as I'm doing a scene on the sea and water doesn't really receive shadows from other items. Tomas Egger Posted November 19, 2011 Report Share Posted November 19, 2011 Ola Michael, The way GI works its different, please, turn off Water surface “receive shadow off†and if you have a group which you dont want to cast shadow on Water surface, only turn off cast shadow from this group.
