Bernhard82299
Since a lot of time a have a problem with texture shading in the maps window. Starting vom EIAS 6 till 9.1, Power Mac G5 till MacPro, it's always the same. Adding a map, the map is not displayed, only the green box. Also the group is only a square. It doesn't matter, what option I choose, no change, texture shading doesn't work. In rgb, the map is ok. Sometimes, but very rare, everything works. Also in the view window, I cannot see the maps, same with shaders. Any idea? Sorry, I cannot ad a screenshot .jpg with 184 KB... :-(
Tomas Egger
Ola Ber! You need to check a few things: 1) If your model is displaying the textures (EI 9.1 display 8 textures with blend modes and masks now per group) :) 2) If your group have UV enabled or not 3) In the text window, see if it is in Model or UV mode, UV use a special planar data stored in the model. Bernhard82299
Thanks Thomas, I tried several settings, also UV mode or not – no effect. No texture and no group, only a box. Also the option "show normals" doesn't work. Funny, now the upload works ;-)) Bernhard
Thomo
Hi Bernhard, Are you using .img file format? I think it should be told that 9.1 cannot display textures above (what size please Tomas)? In the texture windows OS especially. When it will be fixed.
Tomas Egger
Ola Bernhard! Could you send me a simple collected proj with only the group which is having problems and the texture? tom@eias3d.com Thanks a lot Tom

Tomas Egger
Ola Bernhard! Its simple, you are using a Master Material to add a texture in this particular group, when you use Master Materials in a series of groups, you can't preview the texture in the texture window. But Camera viewport shows your texture placement and render is correct. Hope that helps Thanks Tom
