Thanks Thomas, I tried several settings, also UV mode or not – no effect. No texture and no group, only a box. Also the option "show normals" doesn't work. Funny, now the upload works ;-)) Bernhard

Since a lot of time a have a problem with texture shading in the maps window. Starting vom EIAS 6 till 9.1, Power Mac G5 till MacPro, it's always the same. Adding a map, the map is not displayed, only the green box. Also the group is only a square. It doesn't matter, what option I choose, no change, texture shading doesn't work. In rgb, the map is ok. Sometimes, but very rare, everything works. Also in the view window, I cannot see the maps, same with shaders. Any idea? Sorry, I cannot ad a screenshot .jpg with 184 KB... :-(
