S. Houtzager Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Hey I have purchased a model and some of the objects are colored using UVs. Here is a snap. http://www.intuitionusa.com/1/light.png It would save time if I could have it in EI and "adjust" the black and the red. Any ideas? Quote
Diego Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Hi Steven, If ithe model comes with UV's normally have a bitmap that you can adjust in Photoshop. If not you can bake the texture object in a program like C4d, on this way you have a bitmap texture tu fine tune in PS. I hope this help. Cheers Diego Quote
S. Houtzager Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Hey Diego, The vertices are painted somehow as there is not a map associated with it. Hoping to adjust the 2 materials in EI. Quote
Diego Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 I'm not sure if it will work with-out texture but, you can try the new TextureFilter.shd wich is reactive to vertex colors it allows you to control RGB, Saturation, and Value. Quote
Brian Posted June 24, 2013 Report Posted June 24, 2013 Do you have a polygon modeling program like c4d? 3d max? silo? If so, you can select the polys you want and detach those of the object making 2 pieces. I have to do this ALL the time with models I purchase. Quote
S. Houtzager Posted June 24, 2013 Author Report Posted June 24, 2013 I use FormZ mostly. Got Silo too. I can do that with Z. Great. Quote
