atlantis23
I've noticed that the DOF layer shader does not respect the special output gamma setting in the render tab (in EIAS 8 and 9). The .psd output always looks like gamma 1 regardless of the gamma setting. Is this a bug or a feature?
Tomas Egger
Ola, Could you send me a really simple sample project which demonstrate the problem? Thanks Tom

Tomas Egger
Ola, From Igors: “All layers shaders ignore Output Gamma because it should be applied to final image only. An applying it to each layer would not produce a correct result (layers sum)†So, its a correct behavior right now. Thanks Tom
Brian
Thanks for the clarification Tom! Quick follow up question..... It seems like the gamma doesn't effect the material "color" only "maps". I used a color swatch as my texture and it came out perfect. But when I put that same color (same RGB values) into the material "color" it came out wrong. I'm usually using gamme 2.0 or 2.2 Thanks
