Brian Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Hey guys, It's been a LONG time since I used DOF. For some reason when I render out my Z-depth layer it looks great in camera (for the split second that it shows up after render) and then when I bring that layer into Photoshop it's just black. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I also tried shutting off alpha for the Z-depth render. Thanks. -Brian Quote
Brian Posted March 23, 2013 Author Report Posted March 23, 2013 Let me go ahead and explain further..... The Z-depth image will open just fine in EI. Looks perfect. When I bring it into Photoshop (CS3) it's just black. I'm using the EI Image plugin for Photoshop (for CS2,3,4). I just don't know why it wont show up in PH. Quote
Tomas Egger Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Ola Brian, Is it a Still or a animation? If its a animation, did you use Rama to render and stitch? I just did a still frame (.eiz), opened fine in Photoshop CS5. Thanks Tom Quote
Brian Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 I'm uploading the image for you to check out. The eiz looks perfect in EI but when I bring it into PH it looks black. Just not sure what I'd be doing wrong. How can I upload the images to you? Quote
