vic3d
Can I run EIAS8 in mountain lion? and where can I find the universal dongle key instales for that? I already have the patch. Thanks. Vic
vic3d
I'm trying now with the EIAS9 demo, it works, just one question. I have 8MB of RAM, the camara only works with 2 regardless of what I chose in the settings. Is it because it is the demo?
Tomas Egger
Ola Vic, When you double click Camera, go to Camera settings, if Camera is running in 32 bits mode, you will be able to allocate 2000MB, if you change to 64 bits architecture and click in the optimize button, you will be able to run all your RAM memory. bbuxton
The Mountain Lion dongle installer is still not working for me. Animator still returns 'hardware key not found' - I have installed both the Mountain Lion dongle installer and the Mountain Lion update to no avail. Edit:- If I boot back into Snow Leopard everything works fine, so not a dongle failure. Interestingly when I unplug the key the system thinks it is a disk but looking in system info shows the following. Product ID: 0x0300 Vendor ID: 0x04b9 (Rainbow Technologies, Inc.) Version: 2.00 Speed: Up to 1.5 Mb/sec Manufacturer: SafeNet Inc. Location ID: 0x1d200000 / 2 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured)
Tomas Egger
Ola BB, Did you use the EIAS 9 dongle installer? Thanks Tom
bbuxton
No I don't have v9 yet. Just the v8 M Lion dongle installer (link from this forum) and M Lion update for v8. I can reboot back to Snow Leopard but have a project where I need to use Creative Cloud stuff. BB
Tomas Egger
Ola BB, Please, download EIAS 9 installer and use only the dongle installer. Thanks Tom
bbuxton
hmmm sorry to be a pain but the v9 dongle installer is not working either.
Tomas Egger
Ola BB, Do you have a DUO dongle? Is it working in another Mac intel or windows? Thanks Tom
bbuxton
Yes it is a duo dongle. It works on this mac under Snow Leopard, my daughters iMac on Lion and an old G5 PPC on Tiger. The dongle installer does not seem to do anything to get things working on Mountain Lion.
Tomas Egger
Ola BB, Please, try to follow this tread and take a look in the HD system path where the dongle components need to be: http://www.eias3d.com/forums/topic/5596-animator-cannot-be-opened-because-of-a-problem/ The weird part in your report is the OS see your dongle as a Disk! Maybe the OS is corrupted somehow? Thanks Tom
