meester smeeth
Hello People Just wondering how many of you guys have used the Match Move? I'll be shooting the real footage and creating the cgi, so just looking for a few words of wisdom before I get stuck in! Thanks a lot Al
Tomas Egger
Ola Meester :), Do you mean Match Mover (Autodesk)?? or any 3d tracking software? Thanks Tom
meester smeeth
Ola Tomas No, the Match Move in the Ei camera itself? Or is it better to use other motion tracking software?
Tomas Egger
Ola Meester, EI Match Move works with nodal pans (tripods), if you need more complex shots, you will need trackers like SynthEyes. Thanks Tom
Ian
How do Al, SynthEyes works really well with EIAS, I used it recently, let us know if you get stuck... Ian

Tomas Egger
Ola Frank, Yeap, Icarus is a choice (free)... I only dont know How to import in EIAS. http://www.colinlevy.com/tuts/IcarusTutorials/Icarus.php Thanks Tom
jpsdesign
There is also PFhoe (£49) and PFhoe Pro (£99) which I believe were what Icarus became (as well as PFtrack), PFhoe pro exports to fbx and is very good for the price... http://www.pfhoe.com/products.php The cheaper version exports to AE and I think you can then get the camera data from there to EI....
