dcr Posted July 12, 2021 Report Posted July 12, 2021 Hello all, Okay, this feels like a stupid question but is there a way in EIAS7 to get an object to behave as a light? In my model, there's a narrow groove winding groove that I would like to glow. I have a separate object that runs along the innermost part of the groove. The object itself is barely noticeable, but if I could get it to cast light or glow, then it would be perfect. I have had no luck in that regard. I'm going to keep playing with it--the rest of the scene is almost where I want it--but figured I would ask in case there's something simple I'm missing. It's also possible I've changed something that counteracts any attempt to make it glow. Thanks, Dan Quote
Tomas Egger Posted July 12, 2021 Report Posted July 12, 2021 Ola Dan! Its possible in EIAS 9.1, please, send me a private email: tom@eias3d.com I can send you a sample project and How to play with EIAS 9.1 Thanks Tom Quote
dcr Posted July 26, 2021 Author Report Posted July 26, 2021 Hello Tom! Sorry for the slow reply. Thanks, but I figured out a workaround, plus discovered I need to redo my model at some point. Part of the problem is that the object I want to glow is not large enough. But, that'll be a problem to sort out later! Thanks, Dan Quote
