  1. Have you tried clicking "Follow this topic" on the right of the topic title at the top?
  2. For those who have been with us for a while, Cristobal Vila is well known. For the newer users, Cristobal is a gifted artist that inspired many of us with his extraordinary body of work. Here is his latest creation: http://vimeo.com/57125220
  3. Strange, I can't find the original documentation either. I check on V6,7,and 8 CDs, I check on my own backup CDs and on CGTalk. Cannot locate the docs... You have to put the object you want to extract wire from as a child of the plugin... I guess you already figured that one...
  4. Alex, it's a trick. Tom is making up the questions and asking members to post them so he can answer rapidly and look smart... That's what I did when I was more active... Seriously, Tom is THE master. The combination of owner, developer and user makes him the ultimate resource for all of us. As for my implication, my wife and I are starting our own medical clothing store (it's far from our 3D and Graphic design formation...) We plan to open this spring and then, maybe, I will be able to have a more active presence in the Forum.
  5. Very nice! Good concept and great pace. Congrats!
  6. PolyTrans comes to mind... http://www.okino.com/products.htm
  7. Good suggestions. Now that V9 is done with the new "coding" it will be possible to look at enhancements that where not really possible to add on the old structure. Those gentlemen worked VERY hard to bring EIAS to V9 and now the EI Community will enjoy a more mature Application that will include all the bells and whistles the developers are so eager to bring into it. Upgrading is the best way to show your appreciation...
  8. Bravo Diego! What a mesmerizing ensemble of animation! Excellent work! I am a fan of Alan Parson! I must be as old as you… :-)
  9. The Project I tried was made with ivy Generator and used UVs...
  10. Good question with good answers. The kind of post I like, it benefits everyone! Thank you all :D
  11. I just tried a V8 project with leaves and clip map in V9 with no problem.
  12. Could you elaborate and show an example? That would be most helpful.
  13. I like the second one better. Then again, why stripe it when you can paint it for fifty times the price?!
  14. The tower was built piece by piece with love and care... Have fun with it! 2303-Bullet_tower.fac.zip
  15. Well, Movember is almost over and the resulting mo is a disgrace to the community... I did my best! I'll probably won't do better next year...! http://mobro.co/richardjoly
  16. Hello Mark! This is where I got my cars: http://dmi3d.comeze.com Direct import into V9, no coloring necessary... Sometimes, with some models, you have to separate the wheels from the body. Can't remember if it was the case for these trucks. Later on, I will package my vehicle Bullet tests and post it here along with the models. Have fun! You can see other Bullet dynamics in the Gallery http://www.eias3d.com/category/gallery/dynamics/
  17. Yo Maher! Nice aircraft! No matter how you stipe it, this thing is awesome!
  18. Yes Sir James, that's the way to go! Shall I say we do look awesome! With the white stub growing under me nose, I'm looking a little older every day... Can't wait for the end of the month to shave off the evidence! http://mobro.co/richardjoly
  19. Igors, Tom and all, nothing to do with my costume but what an INCREDIBLE job you did! I'm sure everyone will love the new features, the speed and ease of use of this update. I sincerely hope all the love and efforts you injected in EIAS V9 will be profitable. Congratulations, this is an impressive piece of work! Now, let's all have some fun! Render away!!!!!!
  20. I understood. They will not do that. I guarantee they will release as soon as it is ready.
