  1. He's a robot. I thought everyone would have figured it out by now.
  2. I read your post over a second time. Effectively, this could prove fairly easy to do. The least I can do is have a look at it. Message me too...
  3. If you have Xpresionnist, there is an excellent tutorial made by Cristobal Vila many years ago that describe a technique I already used with success. It is however written in Spanish but I could make it through with Google Translate. Here is my project complete with tree model and setup. It's 112Mb: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62778244/RPC_Trees_Collect.zip Cristobal excellent tutorial here: http://www.etereaestudios.com/training_img/bosque100polys/bosque100polys.htm Test result with my setup: RPC_Trees.mov
  4. Of course Greg you are allowed to say that on the Forum. Best of luck on your offer!
  5. Superbes images Guy! Merci de partager. Tous les rendus sont EIAS? Superb imagery Guy! Thanks for sharing. Everything was rendered in EIAS?
  6. Yes it will... Thank you!
  7. Don't forget this one... http://archive3d.net
  8. Just guessing here... Check your vehicle size, I think it's WAY too big. Try reducing it to 1/10 or 1/20 of its actual size and apply Bullit again. It will probably react faster...
  9. The Geekbench mark of my Macbook Pro is 3450. Each virtual machine is almost as fast as mine... Very interesting indeed. Thanks for sharing!
  10. V9... ;) I'd get one but no place to sit the wife...
  11. Nice! Been so long since we heard of the man...
  12. Keep it up Alex, this is indeed a nice challenge!
  13. The watch is running late, it's 11:25 right now... Nice presentation, will you play with the lighting once you finish the strap? I find the shadow a bit dark.
  14. I can almost hear it... Beautiful instrument. I fiddle around with a little harmonica but I don't feel the urge to model it... Maybe I should learn to play guitar, waaaay more cool!
  15. Thanks for the effort. Maybe later if the user base grows...
  16. I remember you working on this guitar and a discussion with Paul Sherstobitoff... Beautiful work!
  17. Clean and simple, total control over the transition. Great idea!
  18. Love it! Wish I had time to play with the toy... Bullet is my favorite! Combined with Forces: an infinite amount of possibilities and fun...!
  19. Shadow Catcher Material? (You know I'm fishing right now, you asked the Forum about this not long ago...) Nice render by the way!
  20. This is posted as a test to check if you receive an Email notification for my new post... I tried following a few posts, but I believe you are right... no notification so far... :(
  21. You are right, too much SSS often gives a waxy look. OK for statuettes but, as far as flesh is concern, good looking SSS is an art in itself... Because of the lighting of the first image (V10 beauty 2), I was expecting more transparency in the ear. It's all a matter of taste for in the real world, SSS isn't always visible or strong. Lighting, composition and thickness of the skin, blood flow, age and numerous other factors plays in the amount of SSS visible.
  22. Very nice! What was the nightmare? The modelling or the UVs? Either way, the result is impressive. If I may be so bold to suggest the use of Raytrace Shadow Transmission (Subsurface Scattering) for the ears...
