S. Houtzager Posted July 2, 2015 Report Share Posted July 2, 2015 Hey I have always struggled with getting a real looking brushed metal material and am seeing if Scratches will do the trick. Can anyone spot what is wrong via the attached image? supernovavfx Posted July 3, 2015 Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 I gave up long ago... I do a TON of brushed metal looks and use photo imagery and bump maps to achieve it..... S. Houtzager Posted July 8, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2015 Well I found that the GI was causing the irregularities in the front so I don't see a way to use the shader with GI.
