antknee
Hi there ALL, am just starting a project that requires an isometric view similar to old school video games. Is there a way to set-up EI's camera to see in this style. Any help appreciated!!! Thanks! Anthony
Franky
Hi Anthony, your best bet would be a very loooooong telephoto camera angle, like 2000mm or more, and then adjusting the camera position to suit your need. Cheers Francois
Ian
Yes, that's the way to do it, unfortunately, you can't render animations from the Isometric views currently. Ian
Juanxer
Are isometric and front/top/right/etc. renderings very difficult to implement? They are rather too useful to ignore (I know one can render the non-perspective views, but they lack practical parameters input such as size and clipping plane position). Ian
If I remember correctly, the idea was floated for the EIAS 8 Userpack, but when it was investigated the choice became: A. The whole user pack, or B. Just this feature. I 'think' (quite possible wrong here!) it involves merging the 4 view windows into 1 large window, ala other 3D apps.
