Diego
Hello All, I wanted to share some results of the new plugin MDD:blush: The animated fibbo comes from Groboto, exported as .Obj sequence, opened in C4D and converted to a Point Level Animation (PLA) a single .Obj plus a MDD file, Also in C4D were added the balls with Cloth Dynamics and converted to PLA-MDD. Originals files was 5.6 GB, once converted to MDD was only 350Mb.:D Once in EIAS a BlobMaker were applied to the geometry of Fibbo and balls. maybe the whole process sounds a bit complicated but really is very simple and quick to do. Here is the animation test www.imago-d.org/c4des/Fibbo_3MDD.mov I like how BlobMaker merges the two geometries. Fibbo + Balls Cheers Diego

Diego
Hello, Thank you very much for your comments guys, I'm looking for a free application to record tutorials...? The other thing is that I tried to apply motion blur to the MDD imported models but I had no success, please, what kind of blur to use? Cheers Diego
Tomas Egger
Ola Diego, from Manual: “1.3 Motion blur To have motion blur you need just to activate blur options in the Group Dialog: - if use Materials is ON, so, you need to activate blur for child group(s) only. - if use Materials is OFF, so need to activate blur for child group(s) AND for the plug-in group. The plug-in calculates blur vectors automatically based on the previous mdd frame. No blur is created for frames outside the mdd animation (simply because no motion happened).†Enable Motion Vector check box on Render information Window / Motion Blur tab / On the groups info window / Shading tab / select Motion Vector pop-up (Blur mode) to all groups which have mdd files associated. Is it not working? Thanksss Tom
Ian
Yes, Tomas is right, you need to turn on Motion Blur for both objects, I got this wrong in the video tutorial. Sorry, Ian
