Hey EIAS User!

I'm hoping to get your input on a possibly MotionBuilder to EIAS ReadyRig tutorial DVD set.  I'm thinking there would be two DVDs a beginner into Mocap Data to EIAS and a more advance MotionBuilder animation blending tutorial.  What do you think?

It would be the same cost of my ReadyRigs Deformer and SkinMan DVD $85 each.

The thing is I use MotionBuilder 7.5 on mac and sometimes Mobu 2011 before it went to the dark grey interface. However, it's the same basic features.

I want to teach it because I realize MotionBuilder is difficult to understand and even after I am not using it for a while it's still difficult to remember. So as with all my ReadyRigs DVD, I will show all the hidden secrets to make it work predictably.

Also I will show different ways to edit the Mocap Data in EIAS. My demonstrating will focus around making the workflow intuitive, simple and quick from different character in one step to editing simple Mocap keys in EIAS for render. Even if you only need to set up a walkcycle for architecture this would be good for you.

As always, I accept preorder very Paypal:  athreet@adelphia.net.
I'll get started if I have a few interested pre-orders.

Thanks,
Alonzo Von Threet

Thanks for your interest Thomo.

My offer is to produce a tutorial DVD about Mocap editing options and procedures as it relates to workflow towards EIAS. The teaching style will be same as with the other two EIAS DVD tutorial I published on rigging. There's been lots of sample, freebies and Youtube about them if you are not familiar with my products here's a link:

These DVDs are only about EIAS. My concern with producing any other DVD that included a 3rd party software is who is using it. I don't know if there are many EIAS using MotionBuilder or want to use MotionBuilder. If so, I have a lot of workflow tips if they have found it to be unintuitive.
Mocap have been a part of EIAS since 1998. MotionBuilder has been around for about the same but maybe there's not many EIAS users Mobu. Tomas and I use to Credo Interactive LifeForms for motion capture back then (http://www.charactermotion.com/community/animators.html). So I have a good bit of experience. Mocap is so common now that it's hard to tell what EIAS users interested in. Maybe I should include Mixamo since it's now free? I use a lot of different software and EIAS 1.5 so the question how can I help others with what has helped me?

If there's not enough interest, then another 3rd party software training I can offer as it relates to EIAS is Zbrush. I worked for many years assisting the development with EIAS. So if not Mobu I can wait and see what I can come up with for those EIAS users who want to use ZBrush with EIAS.
Here's a sample I've done last night. it's quick, no real skinning or edits at all. It's only a low poly  with FBX model from Zbrush. So the questionaire is what software that I use and can teach are user interested in? Maybe Users would rather see Marvelous Designer clothe simulations?

I have taught in colleges in NYC, done corporate training and run my own production studio. The DVDs are way to encapsulate the experience and knowledge I have acquired and archive incase someone needs to know it for their projects or quickening of their studies or pursuits....with less headaches or hair loss ;-)
