Here's the last video of the New SkinMan Rig. This shows how Weight Maps in EIAS Animator v8 works perfectly as expected and how to specifically paint vertexes with precision into the desired shape. This allows you to design the creasing, elasticity and bending even with geometry that is less than perfect for animation. Also the price for the BACK to School Sale is not $150 (not 125) for both the SkinRig and Deformer Rig.

I did a more complex robot in EIAS for PUMA a few years ago. So many parts, over 200. Double IK, Tubes. EIAS is better if you want to get things done quickly.

Eventhough I have a high interest in RED Camera and Animation, I'm just going to focus on modeling for a couple of months now that I spent so much time rigging and client works to make a living.

I'm glad the free tutorial on Zbrush was helpful. I have been doing a bit of hard body surface modeling in Zbrush and I make the high resolution models low res so it can be animated.

Here's some sample WIPs.

The low resolution with the normal maps and/or displacement maps means it's very animation ready geometry.

A bit off topic, well a lot actually, but hey Alonzo- have you seen the trailer for "Eyeborgs" ?

There are some interesting, 2 legged and 6 legged robots that must have been fun to rig. They reminded me of your spider bot which I spotted on your youtube channels.

Don't know if I ever posted this. ;-)
